When we pick
To guarantee freshness, aroma and flavor, we pick the citrus only after you order, depending on the weather and on the time your order comes in.
How we pick
We use clippers made to cut the stem without bruising the fruit: it is a technique handed down over the years. The picked fruit goes into crates for transport, and from there to shipping.
Why buy from the grower
- Freshness. During the week we collect orders, on Sunday or Monday we pick the fruit, and on Monday we ship. Monday’s orders are picked the same day and leave on Tuesday.
- Short supply chain. No middlemen: the price doesn’t go up and the product doesn’t sit in a warehouse.
- Genuine food. We are the first to eat what we grow.
