Certifications

Certified organic since 2007

In 2007 we wanted to give more weight to our choice of organic farming, and we obtained organic farm certification from ICEA, the Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification. Control body: IT-BIO-006.

Are you a customer and want our current certificate of compliance? Write to us and we will send it to you.

What the certification requires

  • the European Union criteria for organic farming: no harmful substances, additives, pesticides, antibiotics or chemical fertilizers;
  • the quality of the product, of the raw materials and of the nutritional values;
  • a total ban on GMOs;
  • animal welfare;
  • multi-year crop rotation against pests and weeds;
  • biodiversity;
  • the responsible use of energy and natural resources;
  • soil fertility.

Protected Designation of Origin

We grow PDO oranges and we are members of the “Arancia di Ribera DOP” protection consortium. We are also members of the protection consortium for the PDO extra virgin olive oil “Val di Mazara”.

Campagna Amica and Coldiretti

We joined Coldiretti in 2010. Since 2012 we have been part of the Campagna Amica network, which guarantees freshness and quality to consumers: we still bring our organic citrus to its markets today.

To be checked before publishing: which catalog products are covered by the organic certification (Reg. EU 2018/848) and by the PDOs. In the mockup, the “Organic” flag comes from the current product texts.
